Andrew Klavan on How 21st Century Technology Affects Creativity
As the author of author of such internationally acclaimed crime novels as True Crime and Don’t Say A Word, Andrew Klavan is one of America’s most widely read crime writers, and his work has been adapted for movies starring Clint Eastwood and Michael Douglas.
But Klavan is also a keen theorist of the impact of 21st century digital technology both on the creative process of the artist and on the traditional publishing business. So it was with relish that I caught up with Klavan in Washington, DC last week to discuss his past as a crime writer and his vision of the future of creativity. –Andrew Keen
